There is such a huge array of Christmas decorations available that you will be lost for choice.

A really great idea is to give a good quality decoration as a gift that can be looked after and will feature on the tree every year for years to come. If a friend has had a child, consider giving them a pair of china booties with the date and name  inscribed on the decoration.

There are fabulous blown glass or crystal decorations, snowballs and the like which make fantastic gifts.

But what we all need are lots of lights, tinsel and baubels, these are really great ways to get the whole family involved. Go out and get a tree, make a wreath for the door, cover the window frames in twinkling lights and just have some fun with the whole thing.
